وزیر خارجه ایران روز جمعه گفت، بعید است تهران بتواند تا مهلت نوامبر با قدرت‌های جهانی به توافق هسته‌ای دست یابد.
به گزارش وب‌سایت خبری مجلس ایران، محمد جواد ظریف، وزیر خارجه این کشور گفت، حتی اگر دو طرف قبل از مهلت اعلام شده به توافق عمومی دست یابند، برای گفتگو پیرامون جزئیات به زمان بیشتری نیاز دارند. وی گفت: “برای همین بعید است در این چهار ماه به نتیجه نهایی دست یابند.”
ظریف گفت، اگر قدرت‌های جهانی “اراده قوی” نشان دهند می‌توان به سرعت به نتیجه نهایی رسید. وی گفت، طرف مقابل در ماه‌های اخیر بسیار محتاطانه حرکت کرده اما مذاکرات در حال پیشرفت است.
ایران و گروه ۱+۵ در ماه ژوئیه مهلت مذاکرات را تا ماه نوامبر تمدید کردند. قدرت‌های غربی مدت‌هاست مشکوک هستند که ایران در کنار برنامه غیرنظامی خود به دنبال ساخت سلاح هسته‌ای است و ایران این اتهام را رد می‌کند و می‌گوید برنامه‌اش تماما صلح‌آمیز و برای تولید برق و ایزوتوپ‌های پزشکی است.
حسن روحانی، رئیس‌جمهور ایران که تقریبا معتدل است، سال گذشته با وعده حل مناقشه ده ساله هسته‌ای و برداشتن تحریم‌ها به ریاست‌جمهوری انتخاب شد.
آیت‌الله علی خامنه‌ای، رهبر ایران، که تصمیم نهایی را در مورد تمام مسائل مهم می‌گیرد، حمایت خود را از مذاکرات اعلام کرده اما می‌گوید در مورد نتیجه داشتن آن شک دارد. آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای روز چهارشنبه گفت، از زمان شروع مذاکرات، دشمنی آمریکا با ایران بیشتر شده و هیچ دلیلی وجود ندارد با واشنگتن مذاکره مستقیم صورت بگیرد.
رئیس آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی هسته‌ای قرار است روز یکشنبه به ایران سفر کند. آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی هسته‌ای در بیانیه‌ای گفته است، سفر یوکیو آمانو “بخشی از تلاش‌ها برای پیشبرد گفتگوها و همکاری بین آژانس و ایران است.”
آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی هسته‌ای سعی دارد در باره ادعاها را مبنی بر این‌که ایران بطور مخفیانه روی ساخت سلاح هسته‌ای کار می‌کند تحقیق کند. آمریکا و متحدانش اصرار دارند که توافق جامع با جمهوری اسلامی باید اطمینان آژانس از همکاری همه‌جانبه ایران را شامل شود.
