به گزارش شرکت آمریکایی بوئینگ، برای اولین بار پس از بحران گروگانگیری سال ۱۹۷۹ این شرکت به ایران ایر قطعات هواپیما فروخته است.
بوئینگ می‌گوید، این فروش ۱۲۰ هزار دلار درآمد داشته و به وقفه ۳۵ ساله تجارت بین دو شرکت هوایی به خاطر تحریم‌ها پایان داده است.
بوئینگ در گزارش فصلی خود آورده: “در سه ماه سوم سال ۲۰۱۴ دستورالعمل، طراحی و جدول‌های اطلاعاتی را به ایران ایر فروخته است.”
بنا بر این گزارش، این فروش ۱۲۰ هزار دلار سود داشته است.
مقامات دولت آمریکا ماه آوریل اجازه‌نامه‌ای را صادر کردند که بوئینگ را قادر می‌ساخت برای یک دوره محدود، قطعات مربوط به امنیت پرواز را به ایران بفروشد.
بوئینگ هنوز اجازه ندارد به ایران هواپیما بفروشد.
این اجازه‌نامه توسط وزارت خزانه‌داری آمریکا به عنوان بخشی از توافق اولیه بین قدرت‌های جهانی و ایران بر سر مسئله هسته‌ای این کشور صادر شده است.
بوئینگ می‌گوید، این قطعات مطابق با اصول دولت آمریکا در ارتباط با مذاکرات جاری فروخته شده است.
این شرکت آمریکایی گفت، در آینده قطعات بیشتری قابل فروش به ایران ایر است. “متعاقب این اجازه‌نامه می‌توانیم فروش‌های بیشتری داشته باشیم.”
ناوگان ایران ایر شامل هواپیماهایی است که قبل از انقلاب ایران خریداری شده است.
شرکت‌های آمریکایی دیگر نظیر جنرال الکتریک، که در ماه فوریه خواستار اجازه برای فروش قطعات هواپیما به ایران شده بود نیز عنوان کرده‌اند تمایل به تجارت با این کشور را دارند.
پس از انقلاب سال ۱۹۷۹ واشنگتن روابط دیپلماتیک خود با ایران را قطع کرد.
آمریکا و کشورهای اروپایی در سال‌های اخیر با هدف فشار بر تهران بخاطر کاهش فعالیت‌های هسته‌ای، تحریم‌های سختی علیه این کشور اعمال کرده‌اند.
ایران همواره تاکید کرده که برنامه هسته‌ای این کشور تماما صلح‌آمیز است.
